Must-Have:
Mandatory wound care certification with a minimum of 3 years of experience.

Description:
Ability to assess, plan, and implement care for patients with ostomies, draining wounds, fistulas, pressure ulcers, and acute and/or chronic wounds.
Provides comprehensive care and education to patients and their families regarding the evaluation, selection, and recommendation of supplies and equipment.
Aims to provide optimal wound and ostomy care.
Travelers may be expected to float to other departments in which they are qualified to work.
This could include taking a patient load if experienced and competent in that setting or could be task-oriented such as answering call lights and phones.
Orientation occurs on Mondays only.
If compliance deadlines are missed, orientation will be pushed to the following Monday.
No holiday or weekend coverage is required.
