Description:
Provides direct patient care to all age groups.
Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient comfort.
Maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient care.
Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
Performs duties in a manner consistent with mission and values.
Requires standing and walking for most of the shift.
Involves significant bending and stooping, as well as lifting and turning patients with assistance.
May require working different schedules according to patient care needs.
Has high risk exposure to blood and body fluids.
Utilizes the nursing process for patients with post-trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities.
Maintains professional accountability for patient care provision.
Evaluates care effectiveness provided by other caregivers.
Coordinates patient care with relevant departments.
Ensures compliance with confidentiality of patient information.
Performs responsibilities in alignment with established guidelines.
Working conditions may include high physical demands and exposure to various risks.
