**Job Description:**

– Work in a 26-bed Cardiac Specialty Unit.
– Patient ratios of 1:4.
– Collaborate with a team consisting of Charge Nurse, Bedside Nurse, PCT, and Unit Secretary.
– Utilize equipment such as pacemakers and documentation systems like Meditech.
– Engage in self-scheduling with weekend shifts, requiring three weekend shifts in a four-week period for the day shift and four weekend shifts for the night shift.
– No on-call requirement, but potential to float to Tele, Med/Surg, and other related units.
– Expertise in titrating IV medications (cardiac, heparin, insulin, etc.).
– Adhere to unit-specific and hospital-wide policies and procedures.
– Wear required uniform of royal blue top and black pants.
– Be a part of a brand new Cardiac Progressive Stepdown unit.
– Foster positive patient experiences in line with hospital expectations.
