Description:
The unit is a 30-bed telemetry unit.
It primarily cares for procedural cardiac patients and vascular surgery patients.
The unit has 9 beds capable of flexing to a step-down unit level of care.
This flexibility is to meet the needs of vascular surgery patients.
Such patients may have undergone carotid or bypass procedures.
The nursing staff must be proficient in telemetry monitoring and cardiac care.
Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role.
The ability to adapt to dynamic patient needs is crucial.
