Must-Have:
– Required experience in Med/Surg and starting IVs
– Preferred experience in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and previous charge experience
– Ability to float within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals

Description:
Charge coverage may be needed depending on operational needs.
Training and resources will be provided for unit charge nurse responsibilities.
Candidates must be open to this requirement.
This unit specializes in Medical Surgical patients.
Patients held overnight for continued workup as observation cases will be admitted to this unit.
Common patient diagnoses include COVID, abdominal pain, respiratory distress, and other symptoms requiring further evaluation.
Floating is required for all travelers.
Candidates will need to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
Weekly orientation hours (12) are non-billable.
Flu vaccine is required with exemptions for medical or religious reasons only.
Candidates must provide two supervisor references.
