Description:
This position is auto-offer.
Flu vaccination is required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1.
Declinations and exceptions are not accepted.
The role involves providing direct patient care activities for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Nurses will monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort.
They will function within the scope of nursing preparation and in alignment with established guidelines of nursing practice.
Responsibilities include maintaining patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
Nurses will utilize the nursing process to provide care for patients post-trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities.
Professional accountability for provision of patient care is expected.
The environment may involve standing and walking most of the time, along with significant bending, stooping, and lifting patients with assistance.
Nurses may be required to adapt to differing schedules, shifts, days of the week, or work frequency according to patient care requirements.
The position involves high risk exposure to blood and body fluids.
Physical demands include pushing, pulling, and gripping up to 50 lbs, with minimal kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
Personal qualities should include being determined, decisive, and flexible.
Dress code includes black scrubs; unacceptable attire includes torn clothes and open-toed shoes.
Working conditions may vary during the assignment duration.
