Experience on a Telemetry unit is essential.
Familiarity with cardiac drips is required.
Description:
This is a contract position for a Registered Nurse in the Telemetry specialty.
The role involves working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
The RN will be responsible for providing patient care in a Telemetry unit setting.
Candidates should be able to perform cardiac assessments and manage cardiac drips and medications.
Experience with post-cath procedures, including Ablation, Pacemaker, Defibrillation, and Watchman, is required.
Acute stroke assessments, NIH assessments, neuro checks, and dysphagia evaluations will also be part of the job duties.
The unit has 34 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1 RN to 5 patients.
The team includes nursing staff and patient care technicians.

Scrubs are required to be navy in color.
No call is required for this position.
The schedule will include working 3-4 weekend shifts during a 4-week block.
