Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Experience: Minimum 2 years of hospital experience required

License: Active Texas RN License

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH

Must-Have:
– TELE/PCU experience
– Ability to work in monitored areas such as Tele/PCU
– Flexible to float as per the floating policy

Job Description:
– Participate in the care and monitoring of patients in the CDU/Observation unit and float to Med-Surg/Tele/PCU areas as needed.
– Utilize Meditech for documentation purposes.
– Fulfill scheduling requirements of 12-hour shifts, 3 times a week, with rotating weekends.
– Adhere to professional appearance guidelines: Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket. Hair should be neat and clean, tattoos should be covered when possible, and only ear piercings are visible.
– Demonstrate adherence to attendance policies and floating guidelines.
– Specialized in providing exceptional heart, cancer care, general surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, obstetrics, gynecology, rehabilitation services, and more.
