ARMStaffing is looking for RN – PICU in Missoula, Montana

  • Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift
  • Unit Details: Lifepoint Health (490)

Job Description:
As a Travel PICU RN, you’ll provide specialized care to infants, children, and adolescents with life-threatening medical conditions. You’ll use advanced clinical skills and critical thinking to stabilize patients, support families, and collaborate with pediatric care teams in high-acuity environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, high-level care to pediatric patients in the ICU

  • Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage ventilators and drips

  • Collaborate with pediatricians, specialists, and child life teams

  • Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and emergency situations

  • Maintain accurate documentation and support family-centered care

Requirements:

  • Active RN license (Compact license preferred)

  • BLS and PALS certifications required; ACLS and CCRN-P preferred

  • Minimum 1–2 years recent PICU experience

  • Strong pediatric assessment and communication skills

  • Ability to adapt quickly in emotionally intense, fast-paced environments
