Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Specialty: Pediatric PACU – Cardiac PACU
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3×12-Hour Day (06:45 – 19:15)
Guaranteed Hours: Client may call off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment without additional payment
Experience: Minimum 2 years of required experience
License: Active state license required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
Must-Have: Minimum 18 months’ experience, ability to float within hospital as required

Job Description:

– Provide post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients in the cardiac PACU.
– Adhere to a flexible schedule, accommodating hospital needs and floating as required.
– Ensure all documentation is completed using the Cerner charting system.
– Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
– Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
– Participate in orientation and complete required modules.
– Work two out of three major holidays as needed.
– Secure housing and complete all compliance requirements in a timely manner.
– Discuss time-off requests and schedule with the manager.
– Follow hospital policies and procedures diligently.
