Description:
Will approve 4th of July requests for time off.
No Recertification of Qualifications certifications required.
Candidates may care for medical/surgical patients.
36 or 48-hour contracts are allowed.
Floating may occur to other patient care areas and lower acuity settings within skillset.
Ratios are 1:5, possible 1:6.
Facility operates at over 100% capacity.
Weekend requirements include two shifts every four-week schedule, may vary by unit needs.
Travelers must be okay with floating within scope to meet facility needs.
Preference to accommodate block scheduling cannot be guaranteed.
Medical and religious exemptions are accepted for COVID vaccination.
Some restrictions apply for requests for time off, especially during major holidays.
Compliance with drug screening and orientation requirements is mandatory.
Must have a valid driver’s license uploaded to compliance file.
Travelers are required to have personal transportation.

This is a level I trauma and teaching hospital with a total staffed bed count of 554.
Scrub color is black, specific charting software will be utilized.
The hospital is a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center.
Travelers can work consecutively for 12 months before needing a break between assignments.
Approval for any overtime must be obtained prior to working.
All compliance requirements must be met within the first couple of weeks after signing.
Due to strict requirements, any vacation time or scheduling conflicts should be communicated prior to submission.
Modules for orientation and annual training are included in the requirements.
