License: IN or compact license required.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Must-Have: Must be willing to work charge.
Must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Description:
The position requires nursing professionals with experience in progressive care.
Candidates will work in an acute adaptable unit.
Patients may range from medical-surgical level of care to stepdown or ICU level of care.
Patient diagnoses include COPD, pneumonia, sepsis, urinary tract infection, and congestive heart failure.
The schedule is flexible, with options for 3 or 4 twelve-hour shifts.
Weekend work is required every other weekend.
National certifications ACLS and BLS are mandatory.
Nurses will float within the scope of practice as necessary.
Additional requirements include completion of a structured orientation program.
Local candidates will not be accepted for this position.
All candidates must comply with the floating policy.
Background checks will be conducted prior to hiring.
Traveling nurses should understand that floating to other units or affiliate hospitals may be required.
All certifications must be current at the time of application.
Non-billable modules may be required.
