Experience with external/internal pacemakers and wound vacs.

Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit specializing in post-operative open heart and other cardio-thoracic post-surgical patients.
This unit requires cardiac monitoring and accepts Med/Surg overflow.
The nurse will work nights, with a patient ratio of 4:1.
Every other weekend is required.
Orientation will be provided every other week, lasting 16 hours.
Modules will need to be completed prior to the start of the position and will vary by specialty.
The nurse may be floated within the scope to meet facility needs.
Requests for blocked schedules will be accommodated when possible.
Compliance with flu vaccine requirements is mandatory, with exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis.
Candidates must have permanent addresses greater than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for submission.
Any previous probationary actions on a nursing license will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Full documentation is required prior to the start, with insufficient documentation resulting in a delay.
