Job Title: Registered Nurse

Profession: Registered Nurse (RN)

Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Hours per Shift: 12 hours

Experience: 3+ years in PCU, Med/Surg, Tele experience required

License: Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required

Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)

Must-Have:

Experience in the Medical/Surgical setting with cardiac monitoring required

Rural/small facility experience highly preferred

Ability to work independently and hit the ground running

Description:

NOTE: August start date is firm.

Experience in a very small unit/facility is preferred.

Expect to care for patients from newborn to geriatric.

RN/Patient Ratio is generally 5:1, depending on acuity.

Higher acuity PCU patients may be 3:1 or 4:1.

Requested time off during the assignment must be noted in advance and verified at upload.

Time off requests after upload will not be approved.

Five days or less of requested time off will be approved for a 13-week assignment.

Every other weekend and holiday coverage is required.

Basic dysrhythmia test is required as part of the profile.

Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment.

Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
