Description:
This is a medical intermediate care position with a staffing ratio of 1:4.
Candidates will manage a variety of patients with medical and neuro diagnoses.
Patient care is provided by a hospitalist service.
There are no set or block schedules.
Weekends and holidays are required.
Time-off requests will be considered if they do not impact shift requirements.
The unit typically sees patients with gastrointestinal bleeding, pneumonia, sepsis, and respiratory diseases, as well as stroke and neuro patients.
Orientation consists of 2 shifts at the bedside in addition to the hospital orientation.
Scrub color is flexible, but logos are not permitted.
Travelers should expect to float to similar units as needed based on facility needs.
Brief orientation will be provided on the unit.
Modules are billable and completed onsite during orientation.
All hours will be recorded via transcripts.
