Job Title: Registered Nurse – Med-Surg Adult, Step Down

Job Specialty: Med-Surg Adult, Step Down

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Nights – 7p-7a

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Experience: Minimum of 2 years

License: Registered Nurse License

Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Must-Have: Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system

Job Description:

– Provide professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patients’ plans of care.
– Create an atmosphere that supports the mission: To care, to heal, to educate.
– Serve as the primary caregiver, delivering direct patient care and working collaboratively with other care team members, physicians, and patients/families to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
– Access confidential patient information and make decisions independently and collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
– Work under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and the indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.
– Be adaptable and willing to float to similar units or other locations as needed.
– Ensure coverage during holidays as required.
