Travel Nurse RN – PCU – $2,150 per week in Chillicothe, OH

Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Specialty: Step Down, Intensive Care/Coronary Nurse (ICU), Cardiac Progressive Care (CPCU)

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Nights 7 PM – 7 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required, with at least 1 year in PCU or ICU

License: Valid RN License required

Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Must-Have:
– Ability to float to similar units as needed
– Willingness to work every other weekend
– Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically EPIC

Job Description:
– Provide patient care in a Progressive Care Unit, which includes medical, surgical, and cardiac service lines.
– Manage and monitor arterial lines, central venous pressure monitoring, and vasoactive drips.
– Handle surgical tubes and drains, as well as the use of CPAP, BiPAP, and mechanical ventilation via endotracheal tubes or tracheostomy.
– Patient assignments will be based on acuity with a typical ratio of 1:3.
– Be prepared to float across different locations to similar care areas.
– Holiday coverage is mandatory as part of the work schedule.
