Certifications: ACLS, BLS (NIH preferred)

Must-Have:
Telemetry skills
IV start capability
Experience with cardiac and vasoactive drips
Familiarity with BiPAP and high flow oxygen

Description:
The nurse will work in a cardiac and medical progressive care unit.
Patient ratios are 1:3-4.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Working every weekend is required.
Floating within the scope to meet facility needs is expected.
Special requirements include experience with Level I, II, III, or IV patients.
Charge nurse experience and conscious sedation experience are preferred.
The unit provides care for heart catheterization patients, BiPAP, and various cardiac and vasoactive drips.
Candidates must be prepared to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
Orientation consists of 12 hours.
