Job Title: Registered Nurse

Experience: At least 1.5 years of relevant experience required

License: Compact license or state license required; specific requirements vary based on start date

Certifications: ACLS, BLS

Must-Have: Minimum of 18 months of Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Direct Observation Unit (DOU)/Intermediate Care Unit (IMC)/Stepdown experience

Job Description:

– Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
– Accessing ports
– Blood product administration
– Peripheral line care and management
– Phlebotomy
– PICC line management
– Starting IVs
– Floating to nearby hospitals may be required
– Must float within the hospital as necessary
– Completion of nursing program accredited by the ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation
– Two supervisor references required
– The flu vaccine is required, with medical or religious exemptions only
– Candidates must work two out of three major holidays during the contract period
