Description:
The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Progressive Care Unit.
This unit specializes in the care of cardiothoracic and vascular surgery and related conditions.
Emphasis is placed on post-operative cardiothoracic patients.
The nurse shall provide care with a 1:5 patient ratio in the progressive care unit.
All travelers are expected to float as needed to other PCUs and potentially Med Surg units.
Candidates must work at least one holiday per season.
Local candidates within a specified radius will not be accepted.
Previous employees must be gone for a minimum of one year before returning for a new assignment.
Separation policies will apply as specified.
Modules are non-billable if completed within the first 24 hours.
Orientation hours may vary based on specialty.
