Experience: Experience with cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients and equipment in the progressive care unit is required.
License: Active license required.
Certifications: COVID-19 vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions only.
Must-Have: Experience with post-operative cardiothoracic patients.

Description:
This position is for a RN specializing in the progressive care unit.
The role involves caring for patients with cardiothoracic and vascular surgery conditions.
Emphasis is placed on post-operative cardiothoracic patients.
The current ratio of patients to nurses is 1:5 in the progressive care unit.
All staff may be required to float to other progressive care and medical-surgical units as needed.
Travelers are required to work at least one holiday per season.
Compliance documents must be submitted prior to the start date.
Local candidates within 100 miles of the facility are not considered for this position.
Previous employees must have been gone for a minimum of one year before returning.
Travelers returning after working an assignment for 365 days are not permitted to return.
Modules related to orientation need to be completed within the first 24 hours.
Orientation hours are non-billable and vary based on specialty.
