Prior, recent inpatient experience in Progressive Care Unit is required.

Description:
This position is for a 3×12 hour night shift.
The preferred start is as soon as possible.
The unit holds both medical/surgical and progressive care level patients.
Patients are held awaiting their inpatient bed assignment.
In this unit, inpatient orders will be carried out.
Admission databases are completed in preparation for inpatient transfer.
The nurse to patient ratio is normally 1:5, contingent on hospital capacity and volume.
Compliance with required vaccinations is necessary.
Candidates who reside within a certain distance from the facility are not accepted.
Previous employees must have a minimum one-year break before returning.
Exceptions to separation policies are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Modules are non-billable if completed within the first 24 hours of onboarding.
Modules may be undertaken pre-start or during orientation.
Orientation is a total of 24 hours.
