Description:
This position is for a telemetry PCU specializing in the care and management of hospitalist medicine patients, including those with stroke and neurology conditions.
This unit is a Joint Commission certified primary stroke center.
Currently, the nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5 for the PCU.
All return travelers must have been gone for a minimum of one year before returning.
Travelers must adhere to the compliance documentation requirements.
Travelers who reside within a specified distance from the facility will be considered local candidates and will not be accepted.
Previous employees must complete a required separation period before reapplying.
The organization allows for orientation modules to be completed during the first 24 hours.
Hours for orientation modules vary based on specialty and completion can occur pre-start or during orientation.
Orientation hours are recorded by facility report and are paid upon receipt of approved hours.
