Description:
General information about the unit includes 12 beds.
The unit is staffed with 3 RNs and 1 PCT on day shifts, and 3 RNs and 1 PCT on night shifts.
Patient ratios are set at 1:4.
The equipment used includes telemetry and EMR systems.
Candidates with stroke experience will be prioritized.
Typical procedures performed in the unit are very few, mainly cardioversions.
The ideal candidate should have an outgoing, energetic, and organized personality.
The dress code requires navy scrubs.
Weekends require up to 4 shifts, usually 3.
No required on-call shifts outside of 3, 12-hour shifts.
This position has been created to address specialized skills.
