Job Description

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Specialty:** Stepdown Cardiac

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum of 2+ years

**License:** Licensure/Certification needed to work as an RN in Pennsylvania

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIH

**Must-Have:** Telemetry/Cardiac Step-down experience

**Job Description:**

– Work in a tertiary care regional referral hospital known for clinical excellence and excellent patient outcomes.
– Provide intermediate cardiac care with bedside and telemetry monitoring for patients with conditions such as Acute MI, ACS, Pulmonary Edema, CHF, Arrhythmia, and Chest Pain.
– Manage post-operative care for procedures like Carotid Endarterectomy, stents, AAA, PCI, and Interventional Cardiac Cath with Arterial lines.
– Administer IV infusions as necessary.
– Collaborate with a professional team to handle a patient population that includes all ages.
– Adhere to dress code policies, wearing scrubs as specified.
– Report to supervisors and participate in resource teams as needed.
– Utilize the EPIC EHR system for documentation and patient care.

Please ensure all clearances and screenings are completed prior to starting. Orientation sessions are conducted weekly on Mondays.
