We are seeking a compassionate and driven Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit.
This unit primarily cares for patients undergoing cardiovascular and vascular surgeries.
You will have the opportunity to manage patients recovering from various procedures, including open-heart surgery and thoracic surgeries.
Patients may also be admitted with complex medical conditions requiring telemetry monitoring.
The unit features 40 cardiac surgery step-down beds and a supportive team of around 100 staff members.
We value team players who thrive in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing needs.
Key responsibilities include management of epidurals, chest tubes, and IV medications.
Weekend shifts are required, with a minimum of 6 weekend shifts every 6-week schedule period.
No on-call shifts are required.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience in stepdown or telemetry nursing.
Experience with cardiovascular surgery and vascular surgery patients is preferred.
