Description:
RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.
Any call-offs or additional RTO may lead to cancellation.
Ratios are 1:4.
Shifts are nights, with 36 or 48 hours accepted.
If 48 hours are worked, no overtime will be billed until after 48 hours.
RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days, with 13-26 weeks accepted.
Travelers must float first from the unit.
Expect a definite float requirement; typically, if floating to a lower level of care, one patient will be added to the ratio.
Travelers are also subject to storm team requirements.
Weekend requirements include working every other weekend.
Travelers will be expected to work during catastrophic events or disasters.
Patient diagnoses include stroke and neuro medical.
Unit systems include medication, documentation, and communication through EPIC and Pyxis.
Unit orientation consists of 24 hours.
Scrubs should be navy in color.
