Job Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Job Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 12-Hour Night Shifts, Every Other Weekend

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week

Experience: Minimum of 2 Years of Experience Required

License: GA or Compact License – In Hand

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Must-Have: Candidates may be required to float to other locations if needed

Job Description:

– Manage patient care with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.
– Administer critical cardiac drips and insulin drips.
– Manage Levophed infusions and arterial lines.
– Provide care for patients experiencing respiratory distress and diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA).
– Handle cases involving substance overdose.
– Perform trach management with chronic ventilator support.
– Ensure adherence to the 50-mile local radius rule for travelers.
