Description:
General Comments
This position is for a backfill contract role in a progressive care unit.
The shift is from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
No on-call is required.

Unit Information
The unit has 24 beds and operates with a staffing ratio of 3 patients to 1 nurse.
Staff includes 1 clinical nurse coordinator, 8 registered nurses, and 1 day manager, among others.
The patient care environment requires teamwork and flexibility.

Typical hiring profile
Candidates with experience in LVAD, post-CABG care, and stroke patient care will be prioritized.
Typical procedures performed on this unit are minimal in terms of bedside interventions.

Best personality fit
The ideal candidate will be team-oriented and adaptable.

Dress Code
Scrubs must be navy blue.
Brightly colored hair and scrubs that are not navy are not acceptable.

Unit Guidelines
Staff are expected to clock in by 6:45 AM.
If a lunch break is not taken, employees should inform the charge nurse and fill out the necessary forms.
