Patients that will be on this unit will be a one of the heart/vascular pt population We will accommodate LVAD s, 2-4 drips, arterial lines, and PA catheters. This unit will also be an observation are for patients that came in for a same day procedure that may need to be monitored for a longer period of time but plan to discharged home, assuming all goes well.The 4B Moderate Care Unit will be a fast paced unit with a high volume of patient turnover and a wide variety in patient diagnosis. It will be an excellent learning platform for a vast amount of cardiovascular procedures and diagnosis.
