Travel Nurse RN – PACU/Pre-Post Op – $2,406 per week in Alton, IL

1 year of experience in PACU
Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs

Description:
Normal shifts include rotating 10-hour shifts.
Shifts are from 0600 to 1630, 0700 to 1730, and 0730 to 1800, Monday through Friday.
There are some weekday and weekend call shifts included.
Call is required once per week and one weekend every 5 to 8 weeks.
The unit accepts first-time travelers.
The patient age group includes pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Staffing ratios during the day are 1 nurse to every 3 patients.
Staffing ratios at night are 1 nurse to every 2 patients.
Staffing ratios on weekends are 1 nurse to every 2 patients.
There are additional restrictions regarding time off.
Travelers must have facial hair that allows for proper fit testing or will be expected to shave.
All travelers will float within the service line.
References are required at the time of submission.
Candidates must indicate if they are interested in a longer travel contract.
Modules are required for RNs and must be completed pre-start.
Orientation will consist of 40 hours.
All compliance documentation must be completed prior to the start date.
