Travel Nurse RN – PACU/Pre-Post Op – $2,298 to $2,300 per week in Springfield, OR

Job Description

Position Overview:

• Role: Recovery Room RN (Registered Nurse)

• Shift: 3×12 (Night Shift) – 1900-0730

• FTE: 0.9 (Full-Time Equivalent)

Certifications Required:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Experience:

• Minimum Experience: 2 years

• Preferred: Experience in a Trauma Level II facility

Additional Information:

• First-Time Travelers Accepted: Yes

• Call: No

• Float: No (No floating to other units)

• Weekends: Every other weekend

• Scheduling Type: Block scheduling

• Medication System: Pyxis

• Documentation System: EPIC (Experience Required), Op-time, Care Connect

Patient Population:

• Varied, including post-op recovery (scheduled OR cases), trauma patients, ICU holds, pediatric (weeks old) to geriatric patients.

Unit Details & Procedures:

• Level II Trauma Center PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)

• Common Procedures: Post-op recovery, ELVO (Emergent Large Vessel Occlusion), TAVRs (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacements), Endovascular procedures, Ion pulmonary

• Special Equipment: PACU/ICU monitoring, medication pumps
