Job Description:

– Work in a pediatric post-anesthesia care unit with 14 beds.
– Collaborate with a team comprising 6-7 staff members.
– Day shift configuration includes 1 charge nurse, 4-5 staff RNs, and 1 PCA.
– Patient ratios are maintained at 1 RN per 2 patients.
– Utilize standard equipment such as stethoscopes and operate Meditech EMR.
– Highly preferred candidates will have pediatric and adult experience.
– Perform typical unit procedures, including recovery of pediatric patients and completing Phase I and Phase II needs.
– Be prepared to be exposed to adult patients, although the focus is primarily pediatric.
– Adhere to the dress code by wearing light blue or dark blue scrubs.
– Must be available to take call.
– Join an experienced and team-oriented staff that fosters a welcoming environment.
