Description:
Bi-weekly orientation for CV Operating Room RN on day shift with possible night shift rotation.
There is a possibility for off-shifting (1-3 shifts in a week) once every 4-week scheduling period.
However, there are many instances with no off-shifting.
Weeknight call requirements are 1-2 nights per week on average.
Weekend call requirements are approximately every 4-5 weeks (24 hours on Saturday or Sunday, 1-2 days per month).
Float to general OR is required.
Block schedule cannot be accommodated.
Looking for a well-rounded RN as they will be working outside of the specialty hired for.
Travelers should not always expect to work in the CVOR.
Travelers must be more than 100 miles from the facility.
Nicotine use is not allowed; contracts are at risk for immediate termination if suspected.
All applicants must have submitted their license applications prior to submission.
Orientation will not allow for requested time off during the first week.
Travelers must attend a mandatory charting class the Friday of orientation week unless otherwise instructed.
Weekend shifts required are 2 in a 4-week period; Saturdays and Sundays.
RNs are required to wear designated scrubs with the facility logo printed on the back provided once confirmed.
