Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse

Shift: Monday, Thursday, Friday 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM

Hours per Shift: 36.00

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of OR RN experience in at least one of the following specialties: Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Robotic, or Endovascular Surgery.

License: Registered Nurse

Certifications: BLS required; CNOR preferred

Must-Have: Scrub and circulating experience; Epic documentation preferred; 1:1 patient ratio; highly reliable; available to work all days except those pre-disclosed prior to offer; must not have alternative jobs interfering with schedule.

Description:
Primarily responsible for applying the nursing process to the care of patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
Assures that appropriate documentation reflects assessment of patient needs, interdisciplinary treatment plans, clinical intervention, and evaluation of patients’ responses to treatments.
Responsible for assigning and evaluating the work of non-nursing direct care providers assigned to the operating room.
Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience as an OR RN.
Experience in at least one of the following specialties is required: Orthopedics, Vascular, Davinci, Neuro, or Surgery.
Experience in all four areas is highly preferred.
BLS certification is required, and CNOR certification is preferred.
Scrub and circulating experience is required.
Epic documentation experience is preferred.
This position is focused on a 1:1 patient ratio.
