Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
Job Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 10-hour Day Shift, Monday to Friday, 7 AM – 5 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Experience: 3 Years of Operating Room Experience Required
License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the relevant state/district
Certifications: PALS, BLS & ACLS Required
Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program Required, BSN Highly Desired

Job Description:
– The operating room nurse is responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures and department admissions to the operative suite.
– Adheres to standards and appropriate aseptic techniques.
– Consults and coordinates with team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans.
– Serves as a communication liaison to patients, families, and members of the operating team.
– Prepares the operating room for the patient and surgical procedure.
– Assembles equipment and supplies, ensures equipment is functional, and confirms supplies/implants are available.
– Must live 100 miles away.
