Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour day shift
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: 3 years of OR experience required
License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district required
Certifications: PALS, BLS & ACLS required
Must-Have: Must live 100 miles away from the job location

Job Description:
– The operating room nurse is responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures and department admissions to the operative suite.
– Adheres to standards and appropriate aseptic techniques.
– Consults and coordinates with team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans.
– Serves as a communication liaison to patients, families, and members of the operating team.
– Prepares the operating room for the patient and surgical procedure.
– Assembles equipment and supplies, ensuring that equipment is functional and supplies/implants are available.

Education:
– Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required
– BSN highly desired
