Job Title: RN-Operating Room
Location: Atlanta,GA
Pay Range: $2000/week-$2302/week
Start Date: Two weeks from the date of position offered.
Job Type: 13 weeks contract

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled RN-Operating Room to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests and procedures, providing accurate results crucial for patient diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities

  • Assess patient condition, verify surgical consent, and prepare patients physically and emotionally for surgery.
  • Support the surgical team by passing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and anticipating the surgeon’s needs.
  • Observe vital signs, anesthesia levels, and overall patient safety throughout the procedure.
  • Follow strict aseptic techniques and infection control procedures to ensure a sterile surgical field.
  • Assist in transferring patients to recovery, monitor their immediate condition, and accurately document all care provided.

Qualifications

  • Must hold an active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the practicing state.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN is often preferred.
  • Prior experience in perioperative nursing or completion of a perioperative training program. Certification such as CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse) is a plus.
  • Proficient in sterile technique, surgical procedures, and the use of operating room equipment.
  • Must be able to effectively coordinate with surgical teams, respond in high-pressure situations, and communicate clearly with patients and staff.

Required:
Minimum 1 years experience – required.
Active BLS – required.
GA RN License/Compact License – required
