Description:
Licensed for 457 beds.
Level 3 Trauma center.
Stroke Center of Excellence.
Bariatric Center of Excellence.
Chest Pain Center.
Department consists of 19 operating room suites.
Average of 50 cases performed per day.
Surgery specialties include Trauma, Orthopedic Trauma, Orthopedic Total Joints, Spine, Cardiac, Vascular, GYN, GYN-Oncology, Robotics, General Surgery, Bariatrics, Urology, ENT, Eyes, Pain Management, and Plastics.
Service line support available including Clinical Supervisors, Charge Nurses, Educators, and Technicians.
Orientation includes 2 days of departmental introduction.
Weekend rotation required every other weekend.
Call required with an average of 6 call shifts per 6-week schedule.
Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays.
Scrub color provided.
