Description:
The position is for a 30-bed adult inpatient unit providing care to patients with malignant hematologic disorders.
Stem cell transplant and CAR-T infusions take place on the division in addition to many research protocols.
The nurse must have experience in administering chemotherapy and biotherapy.
Day/Night rotations occur every 2 weeks.
The RN to patient ratio is 1:3-4 for day and evening shifts (0700-2330) and 1:4-6 for night shift (2300-0730).
Travel nurses will not be expected to infuse stem cells or CAR-T cells.
