Description:
This is a contract RN position in the BMT/ONC specialty.
The role requires 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
No on-call required.
Candidates must have experience with chemotherapy administration.
Completion of the ONS/ONCC chemotherapy immunotherapy certification is required.
This certification must consist of a minimum of 15.25 contact hours.
This requirement ensures the safety and effective handling of antineoplastic medications.
Only nurses with documented competency who have completed the required course may administer chemotherapy.
Safety procedures for the preparation, administration, and disposal of hazardous medications must be strictly followed.
The unit has a patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4.
The team consists of experienced healthcare professionals dedicated to patient care.
