Job Title: RN Radiation Oncology Day Schedule

Shift: Day shifts, 5×8-Hour or 4×10-Hour
Hours per Shift: 8 or 10 hours
Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
License: Valid compact or state license required
Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, ONS Chemo Certification preferred
Must-Have: EPIC experience, IV Therapy/Infusions, Neutropenic precautions, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Tracheostomy care/management, Radiation safety precautions, Wound Care, and Symptom management
Description:
Job requires scheduling to be determined in the interview.
No set/blocked scheduling.
Self-scheduling requests are accepted to accommodate preferred schedules before finalizing.
Orientation is comprised of the first week on day shift and 36 hours of on-unit orientation with a preceptor in the second week.
Patient age group: Adults and Geriatrics.
All candidates must complete fingerprinting as soon as they sign the contract.
Candidates within driving distance must drive to a fingerprinting location as soon as possible.
Locals are accepted.
Two professional references are required, one from a manager/director or someone in a formal leadership capacity.
Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away for six months or more.
Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler.
Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
