Job Description:

– Work in an oncology/women’s surgical unit with 24 beds, part of a larger hospital known for its excellence in various specialties.
– Join a diverse night shift team consisting of 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC), 4-6 Registered Nurses (RNs), and 2 Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
– Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5 to ensure quality patient care.
– Utilize standard unit equipment and electronic medical records (EMR) with Cerner.
– Perform occasional procedures including pelvic exams, echocardiograms, and thoracentesis.
– Collaborate in a team environment; candidates should be team players and willing to learn.
– Rare floating to other medical-surgical units.
– Adhere to the dress code: RNs may wear navy, white, or a combination of both; CNAs wear Galaxy Blue.
– Follow basic hospital policies and guidelines.
– Required to work six weekend days per schedule.
