**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Shift:** Night 3×12-Hour (18:45 – 07:15)

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years required. First-time travelers welcome.
**License:** NC or Compact license required at the start time.
**Certifications:** BLS, Chemotherapy administration certification
**Must-Have:**
– Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
– Administer chemotherapy
– Experience in an inpatient setting
**Job Description:**
– Administer chemotherapy and monitor patients during treatment.
– Provide care in a Medical-Surgical environment with patients having an oncology history.
– Perform colostomy care and access ports.
– Administer blood products and manage central and peripheral lines.
– Handle PICC line management, heparin, insulin, and chemotherapy administration.
– Manage surgical drains, chest tubes, and non-invasive airway management.
– Apply isolation precautions, wound care, and operate wound vac systems.
– Participate in Storm and Hurricane Teams; be prepared for work during catastrophic events or disasters.
– Float to similar units or alternate care locations according to needs.
– Participate in ongoing education and attend required staff meetings.
– Comfortable with the use of PYXIS for medication, EPIC for documentation, and SBAR for communication.
– Wear navy blue and white scrubs.
– Complete 8-10 hours of online module training pre-start and annually.
– RTO limited to 7 days, not falling on holidays. Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
– Floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals according to need. Flexible with unit assignments.
