Description:
This travel nursing position is for an infusion RN specializing in oncology.
The role is located in an outpatient infusion center.
The unit has 5 beds and 16 chairs with a core staff of 6.
Day shift hours are from 7 AM to 7 PM.
Typical patient ratios will be maintained to ensure quality care.
The RN will perform infusions of IVIG, blood, albumin/Lasix, electrolyte replacement, antibiotics, hydration, and Granix and Mozobil administration for transplant.
Oversight for the best practices in care will be a vital part of this role.
The infusion center provides critical outpatient infusion care services for vulnerable patients.
The RN will support apheresis programs and oversee stem cell collection procedures.
Additionally, the position involves providing support for outpatient CAR T infusions.
