Description:
Registered Nurse (RN) in OB/GYN provides care to women during all stages of pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and for general gynecological needs. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, assisting with exams and procedures, administering medications, and educating patients on reproductive health. The RN works closely with physicians and midwives to ensure safe, compassionate care. Strong clinical and communication skills are essential.
Deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established philosophy. Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Effectively interact with patients, families, & visitors while maintaining the standard of professional nursing. Provides physical and psychological support to patients.
