Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our NICU unit.
The unit accommodates a total of 32 patients.
There are 63 staff members on the unit, including charge nurses and clerks.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1:2 or 1:3.
Necessary equipment includes ventilators, oscillators, and Vapotherm.
The unit utilizes Centricity Perinatal and Meditech for electronic medical records.
Candidates with ventilator experience and experience with 23-40+ week gestation infants are required.
Preference will be given to candidates with skills in ventilator/oscillator operation and CPN charting.
Typical procedures performed in the unit include intubations, assistance with eye examinations, feeding tube insertions, and IV insertions.
A good fit for our team is someone who collaborates well with others and maintains a positive attitude.
Floating opportunities may include a Level II NICU and Newborn Nursery.
Weekends required are typically three to four weekends a month, with no on-call duties.
