Description:
Facility is seeking an experienced nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience in a Level 3 NICU.
The unit has 10 NICU beds and 6 stepdown beds.
Currently, there are 8 full-time nurses on day shift and 10 full-time nurses on evening shift.
One nurse is currently out on leave with no set return date.
The typical staffing on day shift includes one charge nurse, three RNs, two CNAs, and one to three sitters.
Candidates must be familiar with electronic medical records (EMR).
Preferred skills include NRP and STABLE certifications.
Best personality fit is encouraged for this role.
Floating areas may include newborn nursery and pediatrics.
Scrub color is royal blue.
Unit guidelines and policies are available upon request.
Weekends and on-call duties are not required.
