Must-Have:
Experience in Med/Surg with cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills.
Experience with telemonitoring and rapid response teams.
Proficiency in managing colostomies and feeding tubes.
Skills in IV therapy including accessing ports and administering blood products.
Experience in managing neurological and psychiatric cases, including pre/post neuro surgery care.
Skills in respiratory care including chest tube management and non-invasive airway management.
Knowledge of isolation precautions and wound care.
Experience with continuous bladder irrigation and Cerner charting.

Description:
This position is for a Medical Surgical Neuro Registered Nurse.
The role requires working night shifts on a 4×12 or 3×12 schedule.
The average daily census is 32 patients.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med/Surg setting is required.
Candidates will work every other weekend.
Floating may be required within the scope to meet facility needs.
Candidates should be open to accommodating block schedules as discussed with the manager.
Local candidates are accepted with no radius restrictions.
RTO (Request Time Off) restrictions ideally should not exceed 5 days.
The client may call off up to 36 hours per 13-week assignment without payment for cancelled hours beyond this limit.
Candidates should have experience with surgical drains.
Teaching hospital experience and trauma level II experience are preferred.
Candidates must complete orientation hours before starting their shifts.
All certifications must be from approved organizations.
