Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Stepdown Neuro Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent Neuro Stepdown experience. License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at time of submission. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH required. Must-Have: – Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in specialty applying for prior to travel. – Travelers must work at least every other holiday. – An acceptable score on ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment is required during orientation. Description: This position involves working in a Neuro Stepdown specialty. Shifts are during the night. Candidates must possess a minimum of 18 months recent experience in Neuro Stepdown nursing. Candidates with PCU/Progressive care experience are preferred but it is not required. Candidates are expected to complete orientation, which will include specific assessments. It is essential to have an active and valid nursing license. References from a supervisory source in the specialty applying for are required to qualify for submission. Basic background checks will be conducted, and any hits will be reviewed by the facility. All certifications must be current and pending certifications are not acceptable. Nurses are exempt from certain nicotine-free facility requirements temporarily. Candidates will be required to complete necessary modules before starting, which are all non-billable. Successful completion of required modules is crucial for commencement of employment.
